Alderbrook Resort and Spa in Union, WA is one of our favorite places to gather as a family. The serene landscape, partnered with activities for the whole family and delicious eats make it a great escape this Summer. Alderbrook Resort and Spa is celebrating 100 years of family memories, relaxing vacations, and fun explorations this year. In honor of their Centenarian status, Alderbrook is hosting a Centennial Celebration of the Resort and surrounding area. Here are a few great ways to explore Alderbrook:
1. Take a Hike! This August, check out the hiking and recreational parks of the Olympic Mountains and Hood Canal. They have guided hikes, including geocaching and more fun activities to get your family out on the hiking trail.
2. Hit the Water! The focus shifts to the water this Fall, with a highlight on boating on Hood Canal. Your family can take the Lady Washington tour in Early September where you can explore the historic Lady Washington replica, and learn about the history of merchant trading and the lives and responsibilities of sailors and ship officers of Hood Canal past.
3. Relax a little! There’s nothing more relaxing than drinking a hot cup of coffee overlooking the foggy Hood Canal in the morning. Alderbrook is a great place to unwind and get back to the basics with your family. Whether you’re with just your children, or you bring the extended family along for a stay in a cottage on property, there’s always memories to make at Alderbrook Spa and Resort.
