Little Surprises, Big Memories
A few weeks ago, I whisked our oldest to downtown Seattle for a special mom and daughter overnight trip. I secretly packed her overnight bag, her American Girl Doll (Julie) and matching jammies, and put it into the back of the car. We all piled into the car and she thought we were going out for a family dinner. She had been bugging me for months for some alone time with mom, and you can imagine her surprise when she discovered that she was on her way to a special evening with mom all to herself.
We arrived and she was greeted with a special bed for her doll Julie, milk and a big plate of homemade cookies. After a fun dinner out, we came back to our room and headed down to the fourth floor to the fintess center to warm up and soak in the hot tub and sauna. After getting on our jammies, we painted toes, ate milk and cookies and watched a movie. After a great night sleep, we had room service with exceptional food.
