The Westin Ka’anapali Ocean Resort Villas are located on North Ka’anapali beach, just on the other side of black rock. These affordable luxury villas rentals are marketed primarily as a vacation ownership property, but you can also book them for your Hawaii vacation just like any other hotel. The Westin villas come in family-friendly studio, 1 or 2 bedroom options with the full-service experience of a hotel. While the villas feel a bit smaller than the nearby Honua Kai Resort and Spa, they are beautifully designed and have all of the amenities for families to have a comfortable vacation with kids in a luxury hotel environment. You will enjoy the full kitchens, washer and dryers and deep soaking tubs to clean the sand off of the kids after a long day at the beach. Direct beach access gives you the ability to try out a variety of beach activities including sea kayaking, paddle boarding and some of the best kid-friendly snorkeling on Maui. The Westin Maui Villas are also right across the street from the Sugar Cane Train, which provides a fun way to catch a ride down to nearby Lahaina.
Enjoy both Westin Maui Resorts
Benefits you won’t get at other hotels on Maui: like the Westin Maui Resort and Spa, guests of the two properties share amenities, signing privileges at the several restaurants, as well as complimentary shuttle service between the two Westin resorts. Both properties have all of the luxurious amenities you expect from a Starwood property, including Westin Heavenly Beds, Heavenly Spas, fitness centers and restaurants with great food. With Westin’s stay at one, dine all program, you can eat at either of the resorts and charge it to your room. Kids under 4 eat free.
With the convenience of a full kitchen in your luxury villa, you have the choice of cooking your own meals. The on-site Kai Ala grocery is super convenient and has everything from espresso, to fresh fruit, dairy and meat, to locally made-in-Maui products. The resort also has several great restaurants including, Pulehu, for unique Italian cuisine with a modern flair and the Pailolo Bar & Grill for burgers, sandwiches and salads.
Looking to save some money on your food budget? As part of their Go Green program, Westin gives you the choice to swap your daily maid service for free breakfast the next morning.
Family Activities:
The Westin Villas property is filled with lagoons, swimming pools, restaurants and grassy areas for kids to play. Kids will love the pirate ship pool and Westin Kids Club where they can do arts and crafts, and play with friends. The resort also offers hula lessons, lei making and puka shell jewelry making. Each month the property offers a variety of activities for families.
If you are a runner, there is also a great running path outside the hotel along the beach that is not crowded and extends from the neighboring Honua Kai Resort and Spa, down to Ka’anapali.
Try: Snorkeling or sea kayaking with the kids over the coral reef to see an abundance of tropical fish and the maybe even the occasional sea turtle. Spa Helani is a beautiful spa and a serene retreat for mom.
